The Pulmonary Service is an allied health care under the Department of Medicine which aims to provide immediate, reliable and effective therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including patients’ education, rehabilitation, care and support to patients suffering from pulmonary diseases, impairments and complications.

The Pulmonary Unit offers the following services:

1. Aerosol Therapy

2. Ultrasonic Nebulization

3. Chest Percussion

4. Intermittent positive breathing therapy

5. Peak expiratory flow rate determination

6. Incentive Spirometry

7. Mechanical Ventilators a. Invasive b. Non-invasive

8. Pulse Oximetry

9. Arterial blood gas analysis

10. Pulmonary Function Test



The Unit is open 24 hrs, Monday to Sunday including Holidays.
